[Review] - Mizon Snail Recovery Gel

Hey there!

Today I am going to do a review on my new Snail Recovery Gel Cream from MIZON

Yesterday when I came home from school, my package had arrived and I was really really excited for this cream. After hearing a lot of good things about Jolse, I decided to order something from their ebay store and the snail gel here caught my eye.

I ordered it on Sept. 1st. The next day I got a mail that it had been shipped and yesterday it arrived. So all in all it took just 5 days before it got here. That's pretty cool! 

Note that I didn't use any kind of express shipping, just the normal one. AND they shipped it for free!

Anywho, let's look at some pictures!

It came in a small brown box which was sealed very nicely with tape

A first I was confused but then I remembered... free samples! Yay!

Now that the gel cream was lying free in the box, it had been wrapped with a double layer of bubble wrap so it wouldn't burst in case the box had been treated badly by the post office

So here you have my gel cream and the three samples I got. Two BB creams and some sort of balm for my pores

On the back is all the information which, sadly, doesn't come in English so let me translate for you:

Contains 74% snail slime filtrate

Snail slime filtrate regain strength and vitality to the skin, giving the skin a smooth texture with moist. A moisturizing and wrinkle functional snail gel cream.

[Usage]

As the last step of your daily skin care routine. Take a proper amount and evenly spread it on your entire face.

Actually.. this amount was too much for my hand and I ended up putting half on my cheek.

So it is a semi-transparent white gel'ish looking cream (it feels really light and not greasy or anything).

It is as if the very very bottom of it is made of water so the gel will easily slide around your hand in a clump.

I spreads out like water and gets absorbed very quickly, leaving a moisturized feeling. 

The first 30 seconds the skin feels wet and after that a tiny bit sticky. But not in a bad way.

I put mine on my face overnight and after 8-9 hours of sleep, I woke up with a feeling that my face was super clean and tight (if you can say so). 

My skin in my forehead has never felt as good as when I woke up this morning and as I am writing this entry (5pm), it still has that tight and young feel to it.

My skin looks a lot healthier and especially around the nose and cheeks.

But take your time and look around their store, they have alot of interesting make-up and skincare products.

Pros:

• Moisturizes
• Makes fine lines less visible
• Has a nice smell (even though they say it is fragrance free. But the smell goes away after a few minutes)
• Leaves skin with a refreshing feeling
• Made my pores look less visible
• Great under a BB Cream since it makes the skin so smooth
• Repairs dead skin
• No parabens
• Cheap
• Small amount needed at the time

Cons:

• It says snail on the container. A bunch of people I know would never try it because they think snails are gross! (And really.. I'm not a big fan either but I know snail slime is good for the skin).
• A little small T__T 

Would I buy it again?

Probably. I really like its instant effect when it comes to making my skin smoother. If it will also make my scars prettier, I will for sure get it again! This is a miracle cream! I can see a difference over just one night and now my skin barely has any imperfections, I'm SO getting this again!!
