Guest blogger - Beauty Scenario Tag

A very good friend of mine (I don't know if she wants to stay anonymous so I'll just call her a very good friend) earlier suggested to be my guest blogger once in a while and so, after I begged her countless times, she finally agreed to do it.

Please take good care of her and leave her a comment to let her know if you liked the post ^0^
Hopefully she will blog for us again soon!

Without further ado, let's start her post ~

Hi!
I am one of Lucy's friends and I am here to save the day and help her out a little bit by writing a blog post or two for her. Today's post will be a Beauty Scenario Tag! So, enjoy, my little unicorns!

① You have to get rid of all of your foundations and you can only keep one   high end and one drugstore, which do you choose?

This question was so easy when thinking of a favorite high end foundation:
Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation!
It is genius! The foundation has very high coverage and covers every imperfection! It is great for a night out or special occasion where you need to look flawless!

Regarding the drugstore foundation it was a little harder to think of just one to keep but in the end I decided on the L'Oréal True Match! It is great because the foundation comes in many different colors and there are colors for both warm and cold undertones. So everybody wins! The coverage is medium to high and the finish looks airbrushed if applied with the right brush or sponge!

You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?

I really wish I could say that I would tell the lady about her unfortunate make-up situation but I am just too shy when it comes to that kind of situations! It is due to that natural fear of not wanting to offend or embarrass an "authority" or someone who could potentially be my boss so I will have to say that in this case.. I am taking the low road and ignoring it.

You're not feeling yourself and need a pick-me-up. Which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?

EASY! RUBY WOO! That lipstick is my jam on a bad day! I will whip this baby out, put it on, and instantly feel sassier! This is more of a high end product so for a more budget friendly option I'd go for Maybelline's Color Sensational in "Tantalizing Taupe". It is a gorgeous dark nude color that I will wear for a quick pick-me-up if I need it!
This is the "Ruby Woo" from MAC. The color is classic Marilyn with a hint of extra VAVAVOOM!

You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?

I am still a teenager (at least for another couple of months until I turn twenty) but I already have a few makeup fails that I deeply regret! First one is powder! I overdid this so much and went for a darker powder than my actual skin color, which resulted in the very unfortunate in-need-of-blending situation! The other one I can think of, that makes me cringe from just the thought of it, is eyebrows.. They are so important to the face and especially on those days that I wear glasses. I overdrew and plucked them too much but I am finally in a place where I can say… "My eyebrows look damn good now!"

You ask your hairstylist for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut, but they mishear and give you a pixie cut. Do you:
a) Smile, say thank you, leave, and call your mum hysterically.
b) Cry in the chair making things get awkward
c) Complain to the manager and demand a refund.

I am not ashamed to say that I would probably cry my eyes out…. Hair is not an important thing to me but that would make me super upset! My face shape is not meant for pixie cuts so I would probably be in tears and demand a free wig until my own hair grows out! ("Heheh, I have plenty you could borrow! ;)" - Lucy)

Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which 'do it all' palette do you pack in your makeup bag?

Benefit's "Her Name Was Glowla" Makeup palette/ kit! It is brilliant and comes with almost everything you need for a natural glowy makeup! It comes with 5 eye shadow shades, a blush (with a small brush), a lip gloss, mascara, and two liquid highlighters: s rosy shimmery one and a golden sunkissed highlighter! This was my go-to palette in high school after PE (sports class) for a quick touch up to look presentable!

Your house has been robbed (don't worry everyone is safe) but your beauty stash has been raided! What's the product you really hope is safe?

My blush from Chanel! It was limited edition and was super expensive so that is the first thing I would look for! After that I would check for my gel liner to make sure my daily cat eye would be not in danger.
Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you
a) Just pretend you haven't noticed
b) Ask them to repurchase it
c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs

I would be really upset as I save up for the make up that I buy and I make sure that it is only people I trust to borrow *insert Sméagol voice here* myyyyy preciouuusssss (Yes, my makeup is my precious…don't judge). So if it came back wrecked I would be heartbroken! I would probably confront them, tell them that they can never borrow my stuff again and that I am disappointed, and then leave it at that.

I hope you enjoyed this little tag and let me know in the comments what you would do in these situations C
