Day 42: Made a to-do list

Hello world,

It's the 2nd day of our 추석연휴 (Chuseok holidays) and of course we spent our time to the fullest! we did absolutely nothing all day.
Celine enjoyed it but I felt extremely guilty. Now that there are no classes, I feel like I should be out exploring and not wasting my time inside the dorm. Today I was slightly guilty of that... but worry not! I'm trying my best to fill up my schedule before school starts again!

Yesterday Cori told me how she'd looked up interesting things to do while in Korea and that that was how she'd found out about Seoullo 7017.
So today I was at least a tiny bit productive once I sat down and started actively looking up things to do in, mainly, Seoul.

Like I must have mentioned so many times already, I really want to make the most out of my time here. The thing is just that there are so many things to do here that it's almost overwhelming to decide on something to do sometimes. So from today, I'm going to add to that list every time I see or hear of anything interesting and then pick out something from that list on days I feel like going on adventures but at the same time have no idea of what to do.

In the evening, I was supposed to have gone to another one of Lloyd's English meetings and this time I'd invited Cori. It turned out it had been cancelled due to Chuseok, though, we we decided to just meet up for food. At least Celine wanted to join that ^^;

"I'd have to eat anyways," she said.

So we met up and went out. We'd originally planned on eating shabu shabu but seeing as these days are holidays, soooo many places are closed, including the shabu shabu place we'd thought of.
We ended up finding a nice Japanese restaurant in downtown Sinchon instead!

Today I wanted to try something I'd never eaten before and ordered the 오뎅우동 (odeng udong = fish cake noodles). On the side I had a sweet tasting potato patty and a triangle with rice inside. I apologize for not knowing the real, fancy names of these.
The restaurant was really nice. It felt pretty authentic.
Oh and they were playing this song called 지구가 태양을 네번 by NELL!
I love this song so much. The night before going to Korea for the very first time back in 2015, I discovered this song. I listened to it so much around that time and 'forgot' about it later.
Last night it popped up in my head again but it wasn't before today that I listened to it again.. and then they played it in the restaurant! That was the first time I'd ever heard it being played anywhere and it was such a happy coincidence for me.

Tomorrow night Celine and I are going to watch a movie with 순리 and during the day Cori and I have planned a trip to the COEX mall and Bongeunsa Temple in Gangnam. Let's see if Celine feels like joining~
