[Personal]
Before understanding the concept of time, I remember asking my parents when it was my birthday. "You have to sleep 5 more times," my mom told me once.
And then it felt like FOREVER until it was finally the day.
Similarly, when I got older and we drove to Italy for vacation, the trip down to Italy lasted half an eternity while the trip home felt much shorter.
That is the power of time seemingly slowing down when we are looking forward to something.
All week I've been looking forward to tomorrow so this past week felt way too long.
Sunday night we also switched to summertime, meaning my inner clock was thrown off even more.
The train company's workers went on strike early Monday morning so I couldn't go to school.
Tuesday, on my day off, I went to Århus with my grandparents to see the dentist and to have lunch together.

My student had recommended that we eat at this place called Café Fika. The food was fine but also partly vegan and my family is definitely not into that.
I showed my grandparents the new shoes that I bought and they, in turn, showed me their MATCHING new shoes. It reminded me of Korean couple fashion and I felt all warm inside because of it.
Thursday I got a mail from Ewha Womans University with a guide on the application procedure for their exchange program!
On April 15th I will be officially applying to spend the fall semester at Ewha!
I can already access their system, though, so I've spent the past days writing my application and making sure that I have all the documents needed. Now we wait.
Also, let me just interrupt myself and share pictures from Friday's class where our teacher decided that the best way to compare the thoughts behind different Eastern philosophies by making it look like the loading screen from Super Smash Bros.
Then he went on to criticize his own thesis from 2 years ago and shared a story on how he had had megalomania and called a bunch of linguists out only to find out that one of them turned out to be the censor of his thesis.
He then told us how he'd made a complaint about the way his thesis was graded and how it has lasted 7 months. He delivered his message in a crystal clear way:
We were learning about bullshit and argumentation. After having shown us this map, he called bullshit and aggressively clicked the 'next' button on the powerpoint until the slide was covered in poop emojis. I like this teacher.
Starting Monday and lasting throughout the rest of this semester, there will be trackwork near Copenhagen, which means that I will now be spending an additional 2 hours of transportation every day that I have class. That is 8 hours total every day and 32 hours per week (╬ Ò ‸ Ó)
Not only does it take longer, there are also fewer trains and they don't go as often.
The train home on Friday was so full that my classmate, Su, and I had to sit on the floor.
On a more happy note, the weather is great this weekend!
Yesterday was the warmest day of the year so far and our city had one of the highest temperatures.
I spent some time at my dad's place, enjoying the sun on their terrace.
Great weather means summer clothes and my mood was absolutely great because I got to wear my happy, yellow crop top. I uploaded a picture similar to this on my Instagram and got so many compliments from my friends. They're all so sweet and I'm so lucky to know them (๑♡⌓♡๑)

The weather is said to become even better today so if you'll excuse me, I'll head outside and enjoy the almost 20°C that the weather gods will bless us with.
Summer, I am ready! 🌻
(I totally went and got ice cream)
I've had a lot of time to listen to music this week so I have quite a few songs to share with you.
Except BOL4's Travel(여행), which I just love, these are all songs that I've found very recently and enjoyed.
Have a listen!
